Granmo Camping

Granmo Camping is situated towards Drivdalen, about 6 km south of Oppdal town center. In recent years, Granmo has evolved into a camping site offering a wide range of options in terms of accommodation (cabins/apartments), rental of event venues, and activities both on-site and in the surrounding areas.

Granmo Camping is open year-round. In winter, Oppdal is a popular destination for alpine enthusiasts. The campsite is conveniently located close to Oppdal's ski resorts, with easy access to both cross-country and alpine skiing trails.

In the summer, you can join “Opplev Oppdal” for rafting along the Driva River, with the starting point right at Granmo Camping. Driva is one of Norway's most popular rafting rivers. Guests at the campsite can also enjoy fishing for salmon and trout. Additionally, you can go hiking in the local area along the Driva River and into the surrounding mountains. There are short distances to Loslia, Vinstradalen, Svarthaugen, and Trondadalen. Granmo can serve as a base for exploring, allowing you to take day trips by car to visit some of Norway's most beautiful fjords and coastal landscapes, all within an hour’s drive.

The campsite offers high standards and excellent facilities. There are toilets, showers, a kitchen, and a laundry room in a newly renovated building. Additionally, there are two brand-new buildings with high-standard service facilities. For children, the campsite features a large and completely new playground, and during the summer, you can also see various farm animals that are on holiday as well.

At Granmo Camping, you will find cabins and apartments in all categories—from small cabins for three people to spacious, high-standard cabins that accommodate up to eight people.
